So girls I need your help. My 5 year anniversary is comming up and FH doesn't want me to spend a lot cause he says I spent too much on his birthday. So I wanted to get him something small. and me and my friend came up with getting him something that says either Mr. and Mrs. ***** or Lori-Ann and Steven. Like a plaque or something for our apartment when we move in. I know he would appreciate something like this but I don't know where to find it, can anyone help? TIA!

I was going to recommend Things Remembered too!
You could buy your first throw blanket with your names stitched into it for him, or any numerous amount of items from that store. They're wonderful!

Thanks. I actually think I found something else. It's a book called 'The story of a lifetime' I think it's kinda like a journal that you fill out over the years to record your life. Maybe a good gift to give FH as it is something that we can do as we are just starting our lives together? What do you girls think?

well before i read that you found the book...and you said you wanted a plaque....i thought ooo she could get a door knocker for their future house...then i read the throw idea...and thought that was awesome, b/c being that you are in an apartment you could use it now....and now that i see the book, i think that is adorable too...although i know with mine i would have to push him to sit down and fill it out with me so if you don't have to force your FH to sit down and fill it out with you then it's a great idea!!!

Well it's not something we would fill out entirely now but maybe fill certain parts out as time goes on. I think he would do part of it himself and then maybe I would do part of it myself then it's almost like a surprise to read what the other one wrote. . .

So I changed my mind yet again and went with a book called 'When we first met.' It's a book that hasa all information about what things were like the year you first met. I thought it was a really cute idea cause even though FH and I only met back in 1998 it's something we can always look back at as time goes on and we start to forget what things were like then!
