Help with bangs....

So i went for my hair trial and i still wear bangs and it took away from the whole look...only thing i can do is try and grow them out and do a side bang. Anyone else have this issue or am i still the only 30 something that wears them

Well, you have time to grow them out to a decent length. I am not sure how short they are now, but if you want to keep your bangs for your every-day look, you can get a pretty headband piece to hold your bangs back and out of your face. Depending on your hair type and length of bangs, you may need to grow them out a tad for the headband to have good staying power. I am sure an experienced hair stylist will also know how to apply the hairspray just right to make it all work.

I grew them out and did a side swept bang look. It came out awesome. I'm growing them out again bc i'm the MOH in my friends wedding in July!

Plenty of time to grow them out.

Bangs are nice if you can pull them off!

I want to do exactly what you did with your bangs. How long did it take you to grow out? I love my bangs but it just didnt go with the look i wanted.

you have more than enough time to grow out your bangs. i cut mine in january of last year about eyebrow length and it grew out more than enough by our wedding for me to side swept it. it actually grew so fast that i cut it a few more times b/w january and june.

I'm the opposite! I was growign my bangs out for the wedding then I had my hair trial and hated how naked my forehead was!! lol So I just cut my bangs back. Of course she cut them shorter than usual but luckily I have a few weeks to grow into them before the big day!

I'm a little nervous about that to but i have lots of bangs so def a softer bang if i dont like it.

Umm, I keep my bangs long usually, but the last hair trim (1 week) before my wedding, she didn't touch them. They were a little annoying leading up to the wedding, but I dealt with it knowing what I wanted to look like. My hairdresser said if they were too long, she would trim them before she finished my updo. Here's a little better pic of what the front of my hair looked like...
