Help with bridesmaids dresses

Help with bridesmaids dresses

For some reason I am lost on this one. I don't want my BM's paying too much for their dresses since some have both kids in my wedding also. Around $150 dollars would do.

I want full length with the color, Clover green for a Spring wedding. Anyone have any suggestions for that price range? Lilettes? Anyone NOT recommend David's Bridals?

Thanks

I got my gown and at Davids Bridal and there were no problems at all. You should at least check them out.

Clover green is my color too
We just went to David's this weekend to pick out dresses - there were a lot available in clover in full-length and tea-length. We went with tea-length because that's what looked best on my girls, but they did try on a good amount of full-length dresses.
I had a somewhat early appointment at the one in Westbury with Donna (who is awesome - if it wasn't for her suggestion, I probably wouldn't have ever tried on the gown I ended up ordering!) You can beat the weekend afternoon rush that way. Good luck!

What designer are the dresses? What was the price range?

I did go to David's and thought it seemed fine. I like the Clover Green and there's lots of cuts to choose from. The price range is good too.

I would check out the Jasmine B2 line. They have very nice dresses (I believe they have the color you are looking for) and they are not as expensive as other designers. I feel a lot of bridal stores carry their dresses.

Try Bill Levkoff... I ordered mine from Village Bridal in Babylon for $160 I think, but they work with you on price.

Check out Alfred Angelo...he has some really beautiful dresses and they are very reasonably priced

there are actually a lot of lines you can look at. Mori Lee, Da Vinci, Impression, B2, Christina Wu, Forever Yours, and Alexia come to mind. I would check out Mori Lee first because in addition to being inexpensive and well-constructed, they don't charge for plus size or extra length, which are usually added costs.

Had a bad experience with David Bridals for BM dresses? I mean, not for my wedding gown but it looked OK for the BM dresses. I did hear that the dresses can be a shade off if ordered from different dye lots.

If you go with David's Bridal make sure everyone orders together because I had a friend who had everyone ordering all over the country and none of the dresses were exactly the same shade.

Yes. That is what I heard and meant about the different dye lots. Yikes. Maybe I'll try Lilettes first. They are so close to me anyhow.
Thanks

Re: Help with bridesmaids dresses

my girls got their dresses from 3 different states at Davids...and I haven't seen them all together yet, but I'm honestly not really worried. I know they are not going to be drastically different in shade if at all. I had a good experience there - you really can't beat the selection. I would also advise going earlier on the weekend or on a weekday if possible, and if you are going with more than one of your girls at a time, make an appointment. Then you won't have to wait. But for the price, selection, and color options, I really liked Davids! My friend took hers to a seamstress she uses who could not believe it was from Davids Bridal!
