help with Ceremony Program wording

My Grandmother who lives in a nursing home will not be able to make it to my wedding . My Grandfather (her husband) will be there though. He will be escorted to his seat by another family member. How should I mention my grandmother in the program? Do I still list them together even though they will not both be there walking in together? Or has anyone ever seen a special section on the program to list important people who are not in attendance? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

If you're listing your grandfather in the same place as the bridal party and the rest of the processional, you might want to just put 'Mr. Bob Smith, grandfather of the bride, escorted by Miss Ann Jones.' Then you could do a line beneath all the processional that says something along the lines of 'Celebrating with us from Afar, Mrs. Jane Smith, grandmother of the bride.' If you're doing a paragraph in the program honoring loved ones who passed away, I would just make sure to keep her name far away from it.
