okay- i was all set on light silver (bill levkoff euro silver) bm dresses.... i wanted something that matched deep red- bc i wanted all black magic roses...
anyway- now i am hearing that the color dress is going to look too chrismasy with the black magic roses...
do you think i should just do red or wine dresses with cream roses?
it's an august wedding on a sunday night so i really didn;t want a dark color dress.
I would say keep looking... From the pics above the silver dresses look white...and i don't care for that! Plus i definately fon't like it with the red roses.
And since you DON'T WANT dark colored dresses...i say just keep looking

I am not too fond of the silver either...It blends too much with the white...I know you say that you do not want dark color dresses but the Euro Red by Bill Levkoff is not a deep color at all...I happen to think it is a beautiful color which offsets the white & will really look amazing in pictures....
But if you do not want red or any dark color, I say keep looking also...Black Magic Roses will look nice with any color

Personally I do not like red/wine dresses with white flowers. I think it looks blah most of the time. One of my BM's used sliver dresses for her wedding and she had very bright flowers - purple, hot pink, yellow. It looked really pretty. I do not think that red flowers would look too christmasy at all...It's August - Xmas is not even on peoples mind yet. If you want black magic roses, I think they would look great!

What about black magic roses for you , and the silver dress's with Cream roses for the girls? I really like the silver colored dresses so thats my choice...Roses are hard because they are dramatic and deep and are hard to sometimes match up. My suggestion would also be to ask your florist for pics that might look good. I didnt know what I wanted but had an idea...When My florist showed me a pic of a bok, I fell in love with it...

I do not think it looks Christmasy at all! I think it's quite an elegant look....if you're worried about it, go with a lighter red or mix in some other shades of red/pink.
