Help with destination

I need to find a place within driving distance that I can send my boss and her husband and her two dogs to for a long weekend.

Could be Jersey, Mass, Vermont, CT, ..etc..

any ideas? I'm really stuck.

I really liked North Adams Mass. We drove up there and visited the MASS MoCa, great museum. It's also really close to Vermont, and we drove up there for some outlet shopping.
