You can spray paint them or paint them with craft paint. I was just browsing 'Etsy.com' and I saw these really cute letters that someone did. Some of them they wrapped in fabric really tight, so it almost looked like it was painted on, or maybe it was decopauged, then they stuck little diamonds and cute stuff all over the letters. It was really cute, maybe do a search on there if you want some ideas. :0
