Hi ladies, I went to a florist today that was recommended to me by some friends. She was very nice and gave me a price quote for everything I needed. I was just wondering if this all sounded about right:
Plus a large bag of flower petals for the tables since we are doing candle centerpieces and not floral centerpieces.
For all of this including delivery and taxes we were quoted at $766. Does this sound about right???
Edit: I should include, the flowers will mostly be roses.

1 bouquet 2 corsage - mom & MIL groom (his matches my bouquet) 6 groomsmen - 2 are my men of honor 2 flower girls - petals to toss 13 centerpieces for reception 5 small pieces for cocktail hour centerpeice for place card table

sounds about right i have been quoted a fe wtimes anywhere between 800 and 650 for about the same things.

i think that's a pretty good price actually. I was quoted I think $7-800 for a little less than what you have... no CPs for me either.
i only have 2 bouquets, 3-4 corsages, like 8-10 bouts, two FGs, and I ended up with Tims Florist... I think they quoted me about $500 and I can't remember if that includes a ceremony arch or not. CPs are included by the RH so I'm not upgrading.
But Burton's quoted me more than Tim's so maybe check out both of those if you want to price shop. I only looked at two florists.

those sound like good prices to me...i itemized the list of things im getting and it seem like my prices were way higher....i am getting like 20 centerpieces also but not including them it seems like i might be getting screwed

I dont think so....it all depends on the kind of flowers you are getting also and how many bouts and corsages and how big your centerpieces are....i understand your worry though! i just thought the same thing

Did you get high or low CPs?? What kind of flowers? I got 18 low CPs, 1 moh, 7 BMs, my bo-k, 11 bouts and 5 corsages for just under $2k. (including delivery) I have roses and mini-calla lillies. . . .
To the OP - I think that sounds reasonable - especially with the petals, i would think $700-$800 sounds about average. You did alright!

I'm getting the same as you along with a spray for the gazebo. My bo-k is roses, the 2 MOH are roses and sunflower/iris mix, the other 4 BM's are having sunflower/iris mix.
The 2 moms are having calla lilies.

2 for groom (1 for ceremony, 1 for reception..they said it gets smashed at recieving line) 7 groomsmen/bestmen 2 father of the bride/father of the groom 1 grandfather

Mine are strictly roses....white's and blushes....a low centerpiece of about 2 dozen roses with tea lights and scattered rose petals around. I just feel like I got overcharged now.
