Help with Florist!

Time to get back to what we do best, plan, give ideas and reccomend!

we went Pedestals florist for a quote today,,, please tell me what you think of our price quoted of $1,335- for the following....

All with fresh shades of pink roses, wrapped stems in pink and black ribbion
1 Brides Bo-k with crystals
1 Bo-k to toss
7 BMs bo-k
1 Flower girl hanging ball
1 jr BM bo-k
5 wrist crosages (I cant spell)
12 boutinerres
and
Flower arrangement with candels for deis table

I know alot of people are leary about posting their vendors right now so if you think I could do better with your florist please FM me the info if you are not comfortable here

I haven't even started with flowers and have no idea of what is good. That sounds good to me but I am not sure.

I voted yes!! Sounds like an awesome quote! FH's cousin used them and her flowers were BEAUTIFUL!!! Are you not having cps or are you making them yourself?

you don't need centerpieces? Also it depends on the types of flowers and how many flowers are in each arrangement and bouquet.

We are going to make our own centerpieces! non-flowers but I think we can work it out.

i vote that u might be able to do better.. i think u should try burtons.. they quoted me 600 less than pedestals.. i dunno i just think its worth a shot

I got a bridesmaid dress there in the past,,,, I know that you were very happy with their work when you went for a quote. Maybe I will check that out too

I think you MAY be able to do better- I haven't found anyone that I LOVE yet-- but I did meet with someone this week that let me know that we can have:

1 brides BoK
4 BM Bok
7 bout (gm & FOG FOB)
2 corsage (MOB 7 MOG)
10 low CP's
10 high CP's

for $1500-- I wasn't TOTALLY nuts about her-- the shop itself was cute but there was this back room that was a bit skeevy...lol -- but I figure- if this tiny little shop can do it for that much then I can find a similar price elswehere-- our DOC said we'd pay over $3500 for everyhing! Quite a jump-- if I can't find anyone else at that price I'll go back to her... I jsut wont go to the back room of her shop! lol

ps- did you try All my heart?? And I'm sure you'll see some stuff you like tomorrow!! See you there!

I would say.. just go and try a few more places.. I'm a shop around kinda girl I guess.. I just want to know I'm not settling and I'm getting what I want for the best price.. GOOD LUCK!!

i think that price is high, you arent even getting centerpieces

try flower barn in seaford they are a vendor on here and the florist i am using

i am using the house florist and since i am using them they are upgrading my cp and i am getting:

my bok, 7 bm bok, 10 bout, 4 corsage, 2 flower girl baskets (and i am having calla lilies)
for 850!!!!!!

It's hard to compare since I need much less stuff than you. But try asking Burton's....especially if you want a more expensive flower.

I got quoted somewhere around $250-300 for
1 bride's bo-k
2 BM bo-k
2 mom's corsage thingies
and unlimited bout's.

I ended up booking with them because orchids are my favorite flowers and I wanted everyone with cymbidium orchids, which would be pretty expensive otherwise.

does this include CP?? I would try Flower Barn first...they gave us a great deal...with Tall CP..20 of them and bk and everything you got,

Beachbum05 - I sent you FM just a few mins ago - and then saw this post about your flowers...

Would you FM me with the vendor that quoted you that? And I can't believe you are using peonies!! That's exactly what I want :) Pink peones, sweet peas, ranunculus, etc...

I feel like you are always a half step ahead of me in the planning!
