Help with florists

Hi Tracy, I am in the throws of wedding planning....photographers, dresses, flowers etc. Both my mother and fiancee's mother were recommended Burton's. Soon after, I decided to check out this web site and began reading some of the posts re: Burtons, and became extremely worried. I was so happy to read your post this morning. Can you tell me more about your experience with Burton's ??? ~Elizabeth

yes,i'm also using susan marlan.. her fee was more than we had expected, but she is just perfect..my fiance and i walked out of our meeting with her knowing that if we booked her we wouldn't have to worry about the ceremony at all! her fee is $400 plus $50/per hour travel expenses. for us, that comes out to $500.. but since it is the most important part of the whole day, it is money well spent! i agree with rachel... you have to find the right person.. someone who you can trust to make your ceremony memorable and personal. good luck! -leighann

Also..you can purchase, for a minimal amount, wedding gift coverage. This will cover the wedding gifts in case of theft, etc.

Help with florists

I have been reading the posts about florists and i have to say Burtons did my sisters wedding a month ago and is doing my wedding in October. The flowers were amazing.I have no fear that they will also be great for mine.I have done much checking on the company and they have been in business for along time.I also have checked the Better business and there are no complaints for either the flowers or the dresses. You cant say that for many of the wedding companies out there. The people are very knowledgable .

How would candles look that are not necessarily HIGH ? (lets say 5-6inches high) I've seen some cute candle holders online that are floral looking for under $30 (and then gotta add the cost of the candles)

any other ideas ?
