Help with fonts!!

If I downloaded a font, how do I use it in Microsoft word or powerpoint?

hey girlie.. when I downloaded it from dafont.com it gave me instructions.. but it should've automatically went into your word.

I did the same but it didn't go into word ad I still can't use this. Help please.

Here is the instructions I follow

*Start
*Control panel
*appearaNCE AND THEMES
*click on fonts in the light blue box
*click FILE-----Install new Fonts-----
*find the folder where you installed the new fonts
*they will then show up in the white box
*Pick the ones you want( use ctrl to add more than 1)
then click OK

When you download fonts, save them somewhere easy to find, like a special folder in your My Documents. When you're done, go to your control panel and open the font folder. Copy the fonts files you downloaded and paste them in the Fonts folder from your control panel. HTH!
