The last time we rented a car I was under 25 I dont think the charge was that bad. I think we used Budget Rental car.

V, def. rent a car. It's not a long drive, its cheaper and you have the freedom to visit other places down there if you want. The Keys are beautiful, you can even do a day trip to key west if you wanted. Try budget or alamo, they are usually the cheapest.

cheesca lodge is beautiful!! They just had a muliti million dollar renovation after a horrible fire destroyed the resort.
There was a bride on the show Platinum Brides that got married there!
ok-on to what you asked; can you rent a car? That's the only other option really. Call around to different shuttle companies & see who can give you the best price. If not; see if doing 2 o/w rentals would work. Good luck! That resort is beautiful!

If you are going to stay on the Keys anyway, I would just rent a car. Then you could drive to Key West for a day! If you are going to drop the money anyway, might as well have a car the whole time

I heard from a friend that a certain company doesn't charge the under 25 fee if you book it online... I'll have to find out which one b/c we have the same problem.

PLEASEEE Let me know chica Bc i have been searching and so far for ONE day including taxes and my fee for being under 25, is $150... still better than $250!!!! but.... i would love to save as muhc as i can!

i would def call multiple car rental places to get the best deal
or look into the shuttle!
but p.s. that resort looks super nice!!!!!! just sent it to FH as possible mini HM for us since we cant go anywhere too far after the wedding
