Help with how to exit your wedding?

Hey girls!

So I'm super excited about using sparklers when we leave our reception at the end of the night. I have a concern about the logistics, though.

I was at a wedding recently where they sent off the bride and groom with balloons, but it wasn't super well organized and people weren't sure if they were supposed to go outside, or stay in, and was the party over? Was there still some time left? The valet was pulling cars up as they were having their exit!

Does anyone have a way to do this in an organized way where everyone knows whats going on?

My ideal situation would be for FH and I to leave about 15 minutes early with everyone outside for our sparkler exit, and then for everyone to know that they go back in for a last dance or two, to finish their drink, gather their stuff, and head out too.

I guess this would be a job for our DJ and emcee, but I just want the logistics to work out.

TIA!

I would talk to your DJ I'm sure they have some way of organizing it and ask your venue what works best

This! And this may be a no brainer but double check that sparklers are ok to use at your venue!

May be tricky, I went to a wedding that had this, and their sorority/fraternity crowd was a bit too tipsy at the end of the night to be trusted with sparklers. The wedding planner was basically yelling at us like kindergarteners--though admittedly most needed to be spoken to like that. The bride and the groom ran through without knowing any of it though, and got a great photo. (ps, no shuttle provided so everyone drove home..scary). I do think it needs to be perfectly choreographed, but your DJ might have more experience with the details.

Yea, I've never been to a wedding where the bride and groom left while everybody did a send off. I've been to a ton of weddings and usually the bride and groom are the last ones leaving the venue!
