This is a dumb question: I'm on the slim side but not toned at all. And I'm in need of some serious boobs.... Seamstress refuses to add cups to the gown which is fitted with a zipper on the back (not corset).
i got one that looks very similar to that... it really pushes those bad boys up i also have a little tummy fat that i dont like... so instead of doing situps , i bought this bra to smooth everything out

Re: HELP WITH LONGLINE SMOOTH BRA
Have you tried going to a lingerie store? There are a few on the islad -- Mary's Corsetiere, Georgette's, Blum's. In the city, there's Linda the Bra Lady, Bratenders, etc. They can fit you with the right kind of bra. Just bring pictures of your dress. I've never tried them, but I've heard that the cutlets can work wonders for adding cleavage.

The one posted is actually the one i have for myself... (i see the tag says felina)... just be aware, it runs a little small... not so much the cup size but the band size... i would def go and try one on first before making a purchase... ive read that its a great bra... keeps everything tucked in and in its place with added padding of course

Re: HELP WITH LONGLINE SMOOTH BRA
when you went to try on your dress or during fittings did you try it on with a long line bra? if you didn't can you go 'visit' your dress and try it on with one?
I have the opposite problem..when i went to visit my dress, I used the long line bra just like the one in the pic, but I think i was a little too busty so i think the next time i go in, i'll try it without.
Before investing in one, I would try it and see if it helps you get the look you want. also, i think its REALLY strange that your seamstress refused to sew cups in when you're paying her money to make your dress fit perfectly.
HTH & good luck!

Re: HELP WITH LONGLINE SMOOTH BRA
The alterations are being done for free....LONG STORY. But she doesn't add cups to the dress. My first fitting is in July and she asked me to bring my bra with me.
