Help with Music...

I am going to see the DJ tonight with 20 days to go I really don't have a list like I was planning. Can everyone put one song in that they like or a must play at weddings and I will print it up and bring it with me. I have a few songs on my IPOD but no list. Help please!!! TIA

Re: Help with Music...

How many songs are you looking to give them?

I tried to leave it to them to work the crowd. I gave them the specific instructions for the 'events' like 1st dance, etc.and asked that they not play any of the line/group dances.

I can only remember the following from our please play list:

Mack the knife
Hooked on a feeling
Rock your body
Coppacabana
Some one like you-Van Morrison
I'm every woman-Whitney Houston

There's more, but it's eclectic-we are all over the place from pop, rap, classics, etc.

Can't get enough of your love - Lou Rawls (that's a song I dedicated to FH )

Other than that, we just gave them instructions on the genre we must have played (i.e. salsa, merengue, freestyle, bachata, etc)
