Im working on my newlyweb website now and having trouble coming deciding on a design.
Here are two VERY rough drafts so assume that there will be some cleanup before it done but which main page do you like better? (there will be links to the cermony, reception, honeymoon, engagement, guests and details pages on each).
Option 2 is cleaner and more professional looking. It really is beautiful!

Love option #2. I love the pic where you guys are dancing and you see the back of him and your head on his shoulder. What a great pic!

I like option #1. Could you do that with fewer pictures maybe?

Option #2 for me too Stef. It is clean looking and I think more 'you'.

Stef
Does Mark Kaufman only take b/w pics? Haven't seen many color ones from your proofs. Not that I don't love b/w I was just curious.

Re: Help with my Newlywed Website...
Actually I had 2 photographers - one for color and one for B&W. I just happen to love my B&W more than I love my color shots. If you go into my photo thread, you will see quite a few color shot (but not quite as many B&Ws).
For my sites main page, I just happen to convert them all to B&W for design reasons.

New question: What does everyone think of the red tint to the main page? Too much red (my signature color)?
gotcha. We also had 2 photographers and I think it worked the same way. My proofs should be in next week so we shall see if the color ones or b/w came out better.
The b/w looks great against the red

Re: Help with my Newlywed Website...
Since B&W was way more important to me and I always gravitate towards those anyway we choose a photographer that was really excellent for our B&W. We didnt have the $$ to upgrade our color photographer as well. Dont get me wrong - she also did a beautiful job but didnt get quite as many of the shots I really like..she was more on the traditional side. But i was just thinking how many more B&W photos I like, our album may be nearly all B&W!!

Re: Help with my Newlywed Website...
I too love B&W photos - my album will probably be about half in color and half B&W.
I just showed my proof album to my mom, and she thinks B&W=traditional and old fashioned. I guess because that's all that was available when she got married! I think B&Ws are classic and timeless.
