Help with my RSVP wording please!

Help with my RSVP wording please!

Do you think this wording is rude? (I mean the part about telling them how many seats they have?) I just don't want any problems since we are not inviting kids are we are going to be cutting it close in terms of space and the amount of people we invited.

We have reserved ___ seats in your honor

My sis did her reply this way... she had to though and she acutally wrote the number in for them... like if they had children she would write 2 seats, so they knew the kids werent invited... the other side of the family was totally denes, in her defense, so she needed to do it in order to have an adult reception lol

I WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING...

AND WENT T TRADITIONAL ROUTE..B/C MY DESIGNER SUGGESTED FILLING IN THE #'S FOR THE PEOPLE YOU ANTICIPATE ARE GOING TO BE A PROBLEM...

MOST PEOPLE KNOW..BUT THERE ARE LIKE 5 PEOPLE IN MY FAMILY THAT ARE QUESTIONABLE..LOL

I have seen RSVPs done this way. I don't think it's rude, especially since some guests have no concept of courtesy and want to bring their entire neighborhood to someone else's wedding.

It's not rude...in my culture alot of people end up inviting themselves. We are doing the same on our RSVP cards for the reception.

Its not rude... but it clearly states what you're getting at.... i kind of did the round about thing and used this:

I will write the number of seats in that 2nd blank... hopefully people catch on... i dont think i should really have many probs though
