Totally go with the white. Colors come and go but white is always classic. Unless you don't mind getting a new set when you fall out of love with the color.

i actually like white .... food looks SOOO much more appetizing when served on white plates.

i think food looks the tastiest on white/neutral colors. i'd register for the white place setting and some of the other pieces as accents - maybe green bowls and serving dishes

I got a white set so I'm biased. With the white, you can keep changing your colors/accessories/tablecloths. With the green, you're more limited. But I love the green, too!
