Okay, so Im ordering my invites right now and I need 75 response cards to have one date and 25 to have another date because of my A & B list. My wedding is February 2nd and I was thinking because of the holidays and all, I would send the first batch out November 19th with a response date of December 10th. And the second batch out December 24th with a response date of January 7th. Does that seem good to anyone. I have no clue. But I want to send payment right now so if anyone could give their two cents, it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone think I should be worried about invites being lost in the mail because of the holidays?

Re: HELP with response card dates!
sounds good to me, i would send the 2nd batch a few days before x-mas eve though bc they'lll probably get it after the holidays, and then they'll have like a week or so only to rsvp, people are horrible with this.

OOh I didnt even realize December 24th was Xmas eve. Im just looking at the calendar and forgetting the holidays. Denise, do you think a week after the response date is a good grace period for the late responders? Cause then if the first batch have a response date of Dec. 10th, I could give a grace period of a week and send the second batch out Dec. 17th. What do you think? This is making me CRAZY!

you can give it a week, but make sure you call all those who didn't respond...People are horrible with this. I said it here many times, for my e-party i had people change their RSVP the week of my e-party and even the DAY of.

Re: HELP with response card dates!
im gonna be on peoples A$$es! I think my bridezilla is going to finally come out when it comes to the responses. And screw that, all responses are final!
How funny would it be if all the way on the bottom of the response I put in tiny letters *all responses final! Now thats an idea.

I think its the holidays is the perfect time to send out the invites, bec the post office knows its the holidays and everyone is sending out holiday cards and what not. But I dont understand why there are 2 diff dates, are they for diff people? Is this your A and B list??

thats what an A list and B list is, i think thats why some were confused by your post. See A list are those that are DEF invited no matter what, once you start getting no responses from then THEN you start inviting people from your B list

LOL yeah thats why we were telling you that if ppl find out invites are different then it would be more obvious to them that it was b list ppl and that you invited them after you got no responses lol
