help with scanning pics

to scan pics for my dj for a slideshow what dpi should i scan at? also wht should i save it as jped or tiff? my dj is off today and im scanning now. please help!!

I would scan at the highest quality your scanner allows you to. It'll take up more space, but it'll be worth it. And I'd definitely save in JPEG format. They're much easier to work with.
