Help! with this hair accessory (hair jewelry)

ANY suggestions on how one could wear this in a hair style? i really love it-my dress is simple, and i would like to keep the hair kind of simple- i love this but have no idea by the pic how it is even attached to the hair! do you think i could wear it in a half-up half-down or in a low bun or knot at the nape of my neck? can i still wear a veil?
SORRY for all the questions! any thoughts would be appreciated!

You can do a french twist and have it pined to that on the side where it twists up, or you can do a chignon and have it right above it, possibly 'holding' the veil or do a high bun or high pile of curls and have the pin under it 'holding' the veil.

You're welcome!
I wouldn't use the pin to be the only thing to hold up the veil unless you're having a short veil. But maybe your hairdresser can make it so it looks like it is.
