How much should I tip the maitre 'd, captain and bridal attendant? I'm having 147 people, maybe less and my biggest problem is that the hall is charging me 8.75% tax on top of the 18 % Service Charge...and they are charging us 18 % service charge on top of the chapel fee of $500!

That's what every hall does. The maitre d usually gets about $2 a person. The bridal attendant usually about $100.

We gave the maitre 'd $3 per person, and we gave the bridal attendant $200 - she was really really great though.
