Help with unique baby shower gift

I don't post on this part of the boards too often because usually nothing here applies to me too much, but now I need help. I'm sure you ladies get asked this quite often, but I just need to ask. I'm throwing my best friend's, who's pregnant with twin boys, shower in about 2 weeks. In addition to the normal gifts and things she's asked for, I wanted to come up with something different to do. For my bridal shower one of her gifts was a beach bag filled with all kinds of things I can use on the honeymoon. So I was thinking that maybe for her baby shower I could do something similar. I'm thinking of putting together a basket or bag of things she'll need for herself once the babies are here, or even before they are here. She's due in the end of March and she's not going back to work until June, so she's going to be at home for a long time. She also stops working next week.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can include in the basket? I just thought she's going to get all of these gifts for the baby, it might be nice to get her something for herself. Or do you guys think I should do something else? She's my best friend and I just want to do something different for her. Any ideas, even if it's a unique idea for the babies, would be very much appreciated.

What about a gift certificate to get a massage or something?

How about a nice comfy warm up suit - it's great for being comfy at home with the babies, but still 'presentable' enough for visitors, or running out somewhere.

You can add in some of her favorite lotions and bath stuff...a great book for her to read...a gift cert for a facial/mani/pedi/...new slippers....etc.

Thank you everyone for the great idea. I think I may put together a little basket with some books, a GC for a pedicure (she loves pedicures), and maybe some other relaxing things...like comfy pants.

I saw this done at a baby shower. She had everyone address a stamped envelope for the thank yous. I thought this was a great gift
