help with when to see FH for the first time on my wedding day

I am getting dressed at my RH, which is gorgeous btw & then FH & the other limos will pick up the bridemaids to go to OWG for pics & I will leave in my own limo.

So, I was thinking of 2 different scenerios (I wanted to think of something other than me tapping FH on the shoulder)....

One would be that FH & I meet in the ballroom at the RH and then we could get those cute through the french-door pics & of us dancing around the room while still empty

The other one is to have FH standing at OWG and when my limo pulls up he can open my door & take my hand while helping me out of the limo.

What do you think?

I really like the second idea - of his helping you out of the limo.

My FH will be waiting at the bottom of the stairs for me to come down. I wanted to meet in the middle of the ballroom, but it will still be in the process of being set up.

I Loooooooooove the idea of him helping you out of the limo!!!! Thats going to be such an intense moment!!!!!!!!

Hi even though the limo idea is cute the Royalton is sooooo beautiful that the pics you would get would be beautiful. of course this is IMO. Ask your photographer what he/she feels would be better. Good luck

I like the limo idea but I don't like the idea that he wouldn't get the whole effect until you actually got out of the limo and stood up. I think meeting in the ballroom would be really cool. The pictures of you dancing around while still empty would be awesome!!!

I would actually go with the limo, because the emotional buildup for both of you as the limo approaches-you seeing him waiting in anticipation for you, and he watching the limo approach knowing you are in it will make for the best experience...and amazing, glam pictures! Then you can pretend you didn't see each other and react the same way in the ballroom for more pics!

They are both great ideas. The only down side I can think of about the limo is that it can be a bit awkward trying to get out of a limo in your wedding dress if there are a lot of layers going on. Trying to capture the special moment on film may be a little tricky since it takes a lot of effort to get out of the limo in your dress and then also needing concentrate on seeing FH for the first time.
