Help with which BC pill to get!!!!??

So i haven't been on BC in about 4 years. I hate how the hormones make me crazy! The only one I seemed to do well on was Yasmin....not YAZ!

I wasn't planning on going on any...but I am so irregular and almost thought I was this past month because I was so late and now my period is right on schedule to arrive for both my b-pics and then for my wedding! gross.

So any reccomendations of what works and does not make you a crazy emotional biotch and gain weight?!?!

I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for YEARS with no problems. I even WANTED to gain weight when I started taking it and NOTHING!

I am on Yasmin and I really like it. If you were on that before and liked it I would suggest that again.

Yea I figured I'd ask for it again. I just wasn't sure if there is anythng new and exciting out there within the past 4 years. haha

I just started the patch and its great!!!!!!!!!! No mood changes...actually its increased you know what cravings, LOL...and I am bad with remembering to take the pills this is a no brainer.

I just switched from Yasmin to Yaz. I wasn't having any problems on Yasmin, but my doctor wanted me to try a lower dose pill. I'm a little emotional during my second week of each pack on Yaz, but nothing too terrible.

A few years ago, I tried Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo, which was horrible for me.

I am now on Seasonique (the one where you don't get your period for 3 months) and I hate it. Next month when I go back for my annual I am changing back to my other pill-Lowestrine (I believe it is the lowest dose available).
The hormones in seasonique are out of control. I had my period last week (so I was on the blank pills). When I took my pill again on Sunday, I wanted to cry all day monday thats how serious it messes with your hormones.

I was taking Estro-Step for a couple of years and I did not have any problems i.e. weight gain, acne, etc..

oh geez....these stories are reminding me of the last time I tried going back on BC. I am wondering if i should just suck it up and hope for the best and not screw with my hormones before the wedding. grrr

I am on Yaz and I like it a lot, but I cannot wait to stop after the wedding. I am only still taking it, bc I know exactly when I will have my period.

I've been on BC since I was about 12 to control periods.. So far, Yaz, Orthocyclin and othrotricyclin are the best. I really like the Depo shot which lasts 3 months, but there is a risk a weight gain, but I haven't experienced it.

i was on seasonique and i had my period for like 2 months it was horrible!!! i did the nuva ring it was good but annoying to put in by yourself, i also was on the otho -lo and i liked it butit gave me migraines so i have been off the pills for 4 months im actually going tonite to get back on because i didnt get my period for like a month i thought i was pregnant and then i finally got it,but i will go on it til after the wedding then hey you never know!!!

DO NOT GO ON YAZ!!!

a friend of mine was hospitalized with blood clots in the lungs

i personally do not like ovcon, if you miss a pill, the next day you have your period

i am on lo-ogestral.. i love it 10 bucks for three months!!

Im on Loestrin FE i like it cuz i didnt gain a ton of weight on it. I was on Yasmin before and blew up lol.

Same here... but it's def individual for everyone
