Hi ladies, im in the process of getting my invites out and im not sure how to word the hotel information. Our hotel gave us a detailed card with directions and such but there no mention of room rate or name the rooms are blocked under (this shouldnt be hard to figure out, lol) or shuttle infor. So im wondering if i should type something up and this is what i have so far.
For your convenience, a block of rooms have been reserved at ______Hotel. Please mention xxxxx-xxx to ensure that you will get the discounted rate of _________. Rooms must be reserved on or before October 9, 2013.
Shuttle service will be provided from the reception to the hotel after the wedding. If you plan to take the shuttle please email _____ at _______ . Thank you!
What do you think? I mentioned the shuttle bc i need to know how many vans to rent.

I had accommodation cards made to match my invites. It read:
For your convenience, Rooms have been reserved at The Viana Hotel & Spa (hotel address) (hotel website) Please reference the Bride/Groom Wedding while making reservations to receive a preferred rate by August 21, 2013 Complimentary round-trip transportation between the Viana Hotel and the Woodlands
ETA I like what you wrote! I think it's fine!

ok, thanks for your imput. HOwever, im little concerned because our hotel doesnt provide shuttle service, thats something we would have to do which is fine. Our wedding is at 4 and the hotel check in is at 3 (have to call that morning to see if you can check in early) I just dont know if i should mention a possible shuttle being offered from the hotel to the reception and then back because i feel people are going to want to drop off their car and on hop on the shuttle to the hall. This is where its going to get costly. Or should i just leave it as is making it look like you are on your own if you check in by 3.. what do you think?

I have the same problem. Need to book a shuttle to take guests back and forth, so I need the count. Are you including this accomodation card in addition to the hotel direction card or in place of it?

I want to do both the hotel card and the other so i will have an idea if i have to add on another van or get a huge bus.

My hotel did not offer me a free shuttle either. I'm doing it through Lancelot, whom I am using for limos. I don't remember how much it was, but we get the shuttle for 2 hours before and 2 hours after the reception. The hotel is like 10 minutes away and will make as many trips back and forth during that time frame.

Ah, See youre lucky. Your guests will have plenty of time to get ready. Our is at 4, 3:45 arrival time and hotel check-in is 3. So its cutting it real close.

ohh that's a good idea. People would have booked their rooms faster. Today's the last day for the rooms being held. I've been posting warnings on facebook all week.
