if you know who a person's guest is do you put both full names on the card or just the one name '& guest'. if you do not know the guest do you put & guest??? i have been to so many weddings and never took notice... oh man! HELP please!

The weddings I have been to with my FH, both of our names were on the place setting and I noticed it and it was great!
Here's what I am going to do. I am going to see how the reponse cards come back. If someone invited with a guest writes their guests name - then there you go. If they just write 'and guest' - then that is what I am going to write. I think this is a good plan!
