Help w/List for Patken I want photojournalistic too

I am a bit nervous now for my pictures w/Patken. I was planning on trusting them. I only want posed pictures before the ceremoney and than after all candids w/lots of black & whites. Would anyone be willing to share their list of photojournalistic pictures to take. I would really appreciate it.

I didn't think you needed to supply a list of pics for the photojournalist...

I don't really have too many things on my list that I WANT. It's more like I have a list of things that I DON'T want (the typical cheesy poses that they might try to sneak in there).
But I did send Steve some links of photography websites that have photojournalistic styles so he would know what I'm looking for.

Don't worry - just be specific and you'll be ok. Make sure to go over everything with them before your wedding. And also, Doug told me that whoever your photographer is, he sits down with them and goes over all the notes in your file before your wedding. So if you're really worried, talk with Doug so he knows for sure what it is that you want.

i personally think giving a list of 'must takes' to a photojournalist is counterproductive and overwhelming. like Anniegrl, i plan on giving a list to my photographer of styles i DON'T like (i.e. high speed film to create the grainy, romantic look, fisheye lens, certain soft light effects, etc.). i want my photographer to document the days events, not to manufacture them.

you may want to give him/her an idea of PEOPLE you would like to have in the pictures and provide sample images with an explanation as to WHY you like them. this way they get an idea of what you are looking for. i want my photographer to capture emotion, setting strict guidelines may prohibit this...JMO...

I agree with what everyone else said - it's hard to ask the photographer to take preset pictures when they idea behind photojournalism is pretty much to capture moments that weren't set-up or posed for. With that said - I think I understand what you're asking though. It's so nerve racking to think that your pictures might not be so wonderful but I honestly don't think that will be the case with Patken.

I want the photographer to do their best to capture the following moments:

Some of our kisses
Some of our gazes at each other
Sillouettes (sp?)
Moments between FH and Groomsmen
Moments between Me and Bridesmaids
Looks of anticipation
Looks of joy (us and guests)

A little more propped:
Invitation
Dress
Shoes and Accessories

Here are some poses I collected that I would love to replicate - sorry I don't know who to give credit to but please FM if these are yours and you want them removed.
