HELP! Woo hoo, more money!!!! Now for photos and limos...?

Many of you know we are on a VERY small budget. We were at the point of having to leave limos and a photographer out. At the very least I was thinking of possibly just having a photographer for a photo shoot between the church and reception.

But we now have an extra $2500. YAY!!!!

So my bridal party consists of:
1 MOH
1 BridesM
1 BestM
1 GM
1 Junior GM
1 FG
1 RB

2 Moms
1 Dad

Will have to transport them plus 2 spouses and 1 Aunt, so need transportation for 15 total.

Need suggestions on Photographer and Limo company who can work within that budget ($2500 between the two).

With a photographer, what should I be looking for? I am thinking getting my pics on a disc, and not getting albums until after, correct? Also, I love photjournalisim style, but FH likes the traditional.

And don't know how to work timing for limos.
-Church is at 3. Reception is 7pm-12am. Would like to be at RH by 6:30.
-FH will be getting ready 15 minutes from the church. I will be the same distance.
-If at all possible I would like to have the limo do a pick up for us after the reception as well. I know some companys provide a comp pickup to the airport for the HM, but we would not need that.

Please, please PLEASE help with suggestions on companys and types of packages we should be looking for from this very tight budget bride!

Regal Bridal (a vendor on here) does great limo packages for a VERY reasonable price.

we used Silverfox photographers and were happy with the pics. some are in my photo album as well as layout of our album. more pics in a slideshow in video lib. see what you think.

they had a package for $1500 for 1 photog for 10 hrs and you also get hi res dvd of pics with that.

when we booked back in nov 2006 he had policy that he froze album prices when you signed contract and you could order later at those prices. you might want to see if he still does that.

he also had option for 4 hr 2nd photog for photojournalistic pics which we used for my getting ready, ceremony and CH. that might help your budget too if he still has that option

for limos we used Sir Oliver and his prices are reasonable.
Cruise Control is supposed to be good also and their prices on the lower side also I think.

We got a good deal on limos with Royalty...you should be able to get what you need within your budget.

I would say book the limos first, then see how much you have left over to use for a photographer.

check out duet for photo they seem to be good with working within ur budget. also check out private photogs they would prob have better prices then these huge wedding photogrpahers.

Amanda Picone is about $1200 for a Full day with all pics edited with a CD and a basic album all edited it will be 1550! E-Session included.. check out her site/blog!!


Erica Lyn is about $1850 for 6 hrs but $350-$400 less for her associate photographers!! 6hrs, pics edited on a CD...

Hey-- you can head over to WeddingWorld in Commack. A friend of mine got a package for 5,000 for flowers, DJ, Photo, LImo and a couple of other items if i recall correctly. I am prety sure they can work something out with you maybe for even less than 2,500 or at least to include albums? not sure how their quality is-- if you dont want albums then you can most likely get a photographer for 1,500- 2,000 and may be better quality than wedding world's options.

Royalty gave me the best prices on limos.

Try Kristina Hill she just did out eshoot and is in your budget. Kind of does a mix of traditional and photojournalism so might work for you. 1200 for 8 hours, all images on disc, engagement shoot, $100 credit to prints... kristinahill.com

you should DEF be able to get limos with the remaining $1000-1200!!
