Has anyone ever heard of giving your guests small empty personalized boxes/containers (the ones you can fill and give as favors) and when the cake/dessert comes out, you can have candy jars put on everyones table and they can fill up their boxes with the various candies on the table and take it home as their favor?
Sounds like an interesting idea...

Is that enough of a favor? Are you guys doing this in addition to favors?
I'm doing the candy buffet, having my place card holders as another favor, and placing a box of 2 truffles on each place setting. And I'm also making special favors for the kids; coloring book with crayons, etc.
