Help...do you think guests will realize this is the favor....

Here is a pic of the frames that I bought to use as favors. My plan was to use them as the place card holders as well. When guests would enter into the reception they would find the frame with their name and table and take the frame with them. I have gotten feedback from a few people saying that if I don't do something to decorate the frame (i.e bows or ribbons) then people will not know to take them. What do you guys think? Should I package the frames and put them on the tables as 'favors' and just write out regular place cards? Thanks for your help!

I've been to a couple of weddings that frames favors were also used as place cards. As a guest I knew that it doubled up as such so i don't think you'll have a problem

i like them and i would know. all you need is one person to take it and then everyone would get the idea that they were favors. they're cute!

I have been to weddings where the frame was the place card holder and I knew that it doubled as a favor. I don't think you need to worry about that.

most people will know. i'd say everyone will know, but i was at a party where people left them behind. don't know if they didn't know or if they forgot. i wouldn't worry about it though. a ribbon would be a good idea so that you can ease your mind - but how would you attach it?

I was goign to do plcae card frames ( the regular kind) but i was afraid of the smae thing, so I am skipping it, but a lot of people do it.

I have been to weddings where there were place card holder frames and favors. I think it would be a good idea to just use them as favors. It might be confusing to your guests.

I think they will know they are favors. I saw those frames somewhere, I cant remember where. They are really nice as favors!

i can honestly say i would not know...and my friends have already done this, but they had to tell me to take it. i would just spread the word at the reception.

Anyone who has been a bride will definately know that the frame doubles as the favor.....

But, take my FH for example.....HE WOULD NOT KNOW!

You know, I forget where I heard this...,but someone told me that the Favor was really for your female guests anyway....interesting thought, huh?

I think they would say it is a favor. I would think it was a favor. I been to a couple of weddings where they are favors.

appoint a friend to stand at the table where they are set up to tell people that the frames are for the guests to take home.

well, mine are bowls, so i think the women will appreciate them more anyway.

could you put them out as places holders, then maybe have someone collect them half way though, get a photo inserted into it, and put them back out as the guest leave

(thats a neat idea - if someone took a ditigal photo and got it printed on the same day)

Absolutely! I just went to a baby shower last weekend that had the same frames as favors, only obviously w/ baby related patterns. They included a really cute poem in the frame thanking everyone for coming...might be a nice touch for the wedding one too!
