Hi everyone...I need some help. Next week I want to start looking for dresses. I live in Amityville so I'm looking for somewhere in about a 20 mile radius that has really nice helpful people and decent prices. Can anyone suggest some places?

Re: Helpful Bridal Stores??
I got my dress at Paradise Bridal in Patchogue, as well as my 12 BM dresses. They have a very friendly and personal staff. I highly recommend them. They are right on main street. The phone number is 631-654-5020, if you want to make an appointment. They are open till 9 during the week.
edited to say: Hey we are getting married on the same day!

Try Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They are very helpful and nice and have a huge selection!!
what really made merespect them was after their fire...they had such a great reputation that manufacturers rushed them new dresses...
very sweet and helpful...

This may be out of the way but Lillette's in Baldwin. Gerri is a sweetie and is really honest. I haven't ordered my dress yet but I will be doing it there.

I did not wind up getting my dress here - but I thought that one of the women at Bonaventure in Garden City (Franklin Ave.) was super-helpful.

Re: Helpful Bridal Stores??
i liked the wedding plaza in baldwin- the woman who works there and her daughter are friednly and chatty but also leave oyu alone if you want to think things over.....i also went to a bridal show where they showcased so i got a free veil for buying my dress there (they handed out paper..think i have an extra if you need it!)
it is not very fancy looking - just a room with dresses on the racks - but they have all the saem dresses as macys and higher en d boutiques but for a better deal......
my advice si if you dont' know what you want, start at macy's either in manhasset or smithhaven mall and get an idea then get the model no.s and look other palces for them....
my sisters friend swears by the wedding ctr in commack too...i went there but didn't find anything...not sure if either is within 20 ile radius but it might be....
