I am really beginning to hate her...I mean truky dislike her. I have 2 MOH...I picked her b/c we have been friends for years and been through so much..I know she is a a very self centered person since I have known her and usully no one likes her the first time they meet her but I have spent my life making excused for her.
Well since I got engaged she is a total disaster..she has never held a real job in her life and has always had everything given to her..she is just so uninterested in everything but wants to try on dresses and have us ooohhh and ahhhha bout how fab she is
and it's getting old and she makes all the BM's uncomfortable and every single convo I have with her ends in a bad way...she is horrible...
what do I do...i wanna tell her to forget about it..she seems to have too much on her plate..for my own piece of mind...
I feel bad for my other MOH she is always trying her best to fix everything and make peace but it should not have to be her job!!!

The purpose of the MOH is to HELP the bride. If she is causing you stress, she is not helping you and should therefore be ditched.
i agree...you should def have a talk with her. She is suppose to help you out...not cause you any stress. And honestly if you think she won't change, i don't think it's worth it to have her as you MOH. She should feel honored to be your MOH

If you kick her out of the bridal party are you prepared for her not to be your friend anymore? I think thats what will happen if you kick her out. Maybe you could drop her down to a BM? Tell her you dont want two MOHs and she seems to busy to fully carry out the responsibility?

I have to say I had a similiar problem. I tried to have things out with her and it ended up not going good. So I let sometime go by and talked with her through IM. Everything worked out, just happened this week,lol but, we both know where eachother stand. I think you need to tell her how you feel and go from there.

I am so sorry that you have to go through this. I would definately talk to her. She is probably too entangled in her own life to even realize what she is doing. She might need a reality check! I know it will be hard to do, but in the end it will be easier than having to deal with this for about another year! Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

I think you should talk to her and tell her, like you said, maybe she has too much on her plate and what she might have to spend being in the wedding. Maybe she doesn't realize and she will want to step out. But, maybe she will change her attitude. I feel for you

I would talk to her one and one and if she brushes you off - peace her out. She sounds like a selfih B**** but I know why you are still friends. I am in a similar situation although my friend in not involved in the wedding

i feel that if she is truly a good friend of yours you shoud be able to sit her down and tell her how you are feeling about the situation...
.then if she doesn't change her ways GET RID OF HER...you have enough stresses as a bride and she should be there to help you...not make things worse
