My single mom and MOD and BMs are not the wealthiest bunch and I have heard some distressing things from MOH as of late that there is alot of fighting going on about who pays for what etc. Just wanted to see if you know what your girls are doing...

If I do have one..it will be mostly my mom paying for things...I included bridal party..but its hard to say because my MOH is my sis..and shes in college..which means no $$$..then one of my BMs is 18...no job..so no $$$...then my other BMs has a job..and may pitch in..but shes also broke..so most likely my mom

you are blessed, my FMIL did offer and I told my girls to call her but now there is fighting on who pays what vs. how much $$ everyone wants to spend. I just want to right a check and not have to talk about it. I feel so weird

Well...my BP is planning it with the help of my mom. Since all my girls are still in college and many are broke, I've heard thru the grapevine that my mom is paying for mostly all of it and my MOH may contribute whatever she can, if she can.

My mom and my FMIL are paying for part of it as well as my bridal party! I'm pretty sure they are having it at a restaurant my inlaws own in Manhattan! I really dont want to know any details though!

Good luck maybe send out an email asking everyone to remember to have fun an try to enjoy this experiance. Or just straight out offer to write the check if it will stop all the bickering and see if they get some clarity. My sister was recently part of a brial party where all the girls did was fight all 11 of them! The moms planned a shower that cost each girl $600 can you beleive it! But they did it and talke behindone anothers back but never, NEVER let the bride in on the tension. Good luck, and remind yourself it's out of your control and to have fun with this experience

Im trying to keep out of it, but they keep comign to me about it. I am feeling awful about the whole thing now :(. I will offer $$ one more time then ask to not be involved in it, I feel yucky about even worrying about it but I cant blame my girls either..

Probably my mom and my sister. My mom and I paid for my sister's shower so I think it would be the same for me.

my mom paid for the bulk of my shower itself, and my BP (only 2 girls) paid for the rest of the shower and all the decorations and favors.

I'm my older sister's MOH and am paying for just about the entire thing on my own while trying to pay for my own wedding!
I know she'll do the same for me though so it's all good!

for those of you that said your mom and BP is paying for it what is the Mom/BP percentages:
1) 50/50 2) 75/25 3) split equally between mom and all BP girls 4) not sure they worked it all out without asking you

my daddy is paying for mine. it is being planed by my koumbara, maid of honor and step mom. they will ask the bridal party to help with whatever theu need and they are all willing to help from what i have heard so far.
