Hemingways in Wantagh

Has anyone been to, or paln on habing a gathering at Hemingways? My sister is considering it for a rehearsal dinner, but we want to get some feedback. Anyone?

I've never had an event there but have been there for dinner and drinks and IMO, it is very overpriced and the food isn't anything special.

I went there once for my birthday and I was not happy with the service. Food was great, drinks were great, but the service was terrible. Just from that once experience, I wont ever go there again.

I went there last year for party with people from work and it was great. Food was delicious!!

My friend had her RD there. IT was nice- there was only a few of us, so we had it in the room right off to the side.

The food was pretty good actually and I didn't think it was overpriced.
