Here is my review and pics finally

Hall: Essex House CPS NYC A+

They were wonderful basically I got what I paid for. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. There was a great attention to every detail and our Maitre D' really (Serge) went out of his way to make everything as organized as possible. People were raving about the place and how wonderful it was. I was hesitant about getting married there at first but since we had a pretty small wedding of about 110 guests it was a great choice.

I am still reeping the benefits of getting married there now. Since its a Starwood I accumulated points from the event that I am using towards my upcoming trip to Spain.

Flowers: Andrew Pascoe Locust Valley A+

What impressed me with Andrew is that he was actually there on the day of the wedding making sure that everything went well. He really made my vision a reality. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful it was so sad for me to see the night end and leave them behind.

Band: Red Hot Rythum C

I was disappointed with the band, and their lack of follow through. I made a list of 'must plays' and basically they did not play any of the songs, yet they took a request from one of my guests. My husband contacted the after the wedding and they formally apologized to us but really I was let down by them. I know that thier perfomance overall was good, bc several of my guests booked them for different events after the wedding.

When i first went to Jovon I wanted to use Cesar as my primary photog but I am that that changed. Telmo is more of a seasoned professional and really knows what to do. He really put my mom at ease and it felt very natural with him. Cesar is younger and may be good at some of the more 'creative' shots but he would not be strong enough to lead the pics. I am still waiting for my final pics before the album is approved but from the 700 shots that I saw I was pleased with their work. I also love our e-pics they came out wonderful. Jovon and Cesar worked on those together and they did a great job.

Video: Patken Photography A

I went to several places to take a look at photo/videography and I really liked their work. The DVD I saw at once place was beautiful but super expensive and in my opinion not worth it. I owe it to this board for taking a look at Patken. My videography was wonderful. So professional and friendly I was happy that I choose them. They delivered on time and the DVD's are great. I am happy I did not spend more bc honestly I cannot imagine watching it over and over again. Its been a year since the wedding and I have watched it once. The editing and quality of the DVD is top notch-very hightly recommended.

Make up and Hair:

Alice from Haircraft Forward C+

Alice was great when it came to my e-pic doing but I do not think she is the go to person for wedding mu. She arrived at 9:30 and left at 1:30 that is 4 hours on just me and my mom. We are very low maintenance (no updos) and it took her 4 hours. For MU and hair of would have used someone else but in the end I was happy with the result so its fine. I guess you can't sweat the small stuff.

Honeymoon: A+

We went to Maui (Four seasons) and Kauai (The Princeville resort) what can I say it was perfect. Our rooms the resorts, the service I wish every trip could be this wonderful.
