Here's My Eve of Milady Dress...

Here are some pics of my dress! I think I'm going to have the straps removed so it'll be strapless, but I need help deciding which veil length I should go with. One of the pics has me wearing an elbow length veil. Should I go longer to a fingertip length? Thanks!

Re: Here's My Dress...

Very nice, do you have any detailing on the back?? if you do, you will not want to cover it up.

Re: Here's My Dress...

There is some detailing and there are cute little bows where the train is detachable. Here's what it looks like...

Re: Here's My Dress...

Definitely keep the veil short, but you have to be happy with your choice so we can only give opinions. I did not cover up my detailing, it makes for nice pitures

Like this one my photographer took. I think your dress is very pretty

Re: Here's My Dress...

I really like the elbow length. It lets you see the back of the gown really well.

Re: Here's My Dress...

Personally, I would go with a fingertip veil. If you are concerned about people seeing the back of your dress, than just remove the veil after your ceremony.

Otherwise, the elbow length looks like you are wearing a communion veil. It looks like a little girl's veil on a woman. JMO.

Re: Here's My Dress...

I prefer a bit longer veil, but I think it depends on whether or not you're wearing your veil for your reception. I'm wearing a cathedral length, but everyone will see the back of my dress at the reception, where I take the veil off.

Re: Here's My Eve of Milady Dress...

You look beautiful in it!!!!

I am so excited now! My gown has the same back as yours, with the little bows for the train. I have been debating between the long veil and short also....I think I might go for the long just because the train is plain and it won't really take away from anything, and add to the drama of it all. People will see the back when I take the veil off at the reception. It's hard, both look great with it, I guess you should just see what you feel most comfortable in.
