Re: Here's a picture of a card box I want to order, but it needs something
Hmm I don't know about the lace. It's cardboard right? If the heart design is flat, then the lace could actually look funny because you are trying to make it look three dimensional and it might overwhelm the middle. Hmmm let me think...
What about getting lace stickers? You can find all kinds of cool stickers in the scrapbook section of AC moore and MICHEALS, including fancy wedding letters-you could put the date our your names in silvery script. Or go with the sticker lace. OR! They have the little fabric things and accents that go in scrabooks like wedding dresses or actual tiny little weddign rings. If you use those like...hmm how can I describe this...
Ok so you would put lace on the sides right? Along the edges. Then buy one of those little accents-maybe the rings on a pillow or buy a white satin heart and glue the rings to it, then glue it to the center of the heart on the box. That way you have 3D look all the way around rather then just some lace that will make people go, 'Um WHY is that there?'
Please know I am not knocking your idea! I am just saying it will look half-finished if you don't do something with the middle 1D hearts. You can try the pre-made ribbon bows too.
Hope it helps. If you need anything (like coupon codes) let me know.

I thought it was plastic. I better read it again. Thanks for your ideas.

what about putting a laced dollie (sp?) underneath it in your bridal party color?
Maybe some thin, delicate lace strips down the corners of the box. so that they fold onto each side.
Like it was said before, if the picture is flat on the box it may look funny to stick something on it, so you may have to work around it....

Go with the crystals. They are somewhat 3-dimensional and will no be to overwhelming.
