Heres a question for you 05' ladies... from an 06er !

First & formost, I want to congratulate you all. I tresspass your board all the time, & I just want to say that you all made such beautiful brides.

Do any of you ladies feel that your wedding day was NOT what you envisioned? Was it better or worse then you anticipated?

Thanks

Thanks!

The wedding was pretty much just as we'd pictured...it was the best day of our lives.

Thanks!

I think that that it was what we pictured & even better. It is hard to picture something that has so many parts that must all come together on one day. I am sure that it will be what you expect and more.

Honestly it happened so fast, its like sometimes I cant really remember everything that happened. I wont say it was perfect or it was EVERYTHING that I envisioned. I dont think any wedding is perfect. Theres always something that goes wrong, sometimes you just arent aware of it. Even my DOC prepared me by telling me she has never done a 'perfect wedding'

But it was the happiest day of our lives and for the most part it is what I hoped for, in terms of how things worked out.

At the end of the day, it will be everything you thought it could be and then some...

however, as perfect as the day was, you will see a couple of imprefections months following the wedding...
(i dont have a picture of that, or Aunt Jane didnt have a good time, etc...)

Don't worry about that other stuff...just make sure you enjoy the feeling, the love, and the partying

I can definitely say the wedding was more then I ever could have imagined. The feeling of love and happiness is just incredible. Also loved all my vendors and how everything turned out.

It was better than I imagined. I can actually say that I enjoyed every minute of it and I loved it. Really and truly worth ALL the drama that I went through. I would do that day again in a heartbeat. Only happy memories when I think back on it.

Looking back on my wedding day I have to say that everything was better than I could have imagined. Every detail and every moment was amazing. I love looking at my pictures and remembering the day. It also surprised me how much DH enjoyed our wedding and how memorable it was for him as well.

Even though I had a very hard time with my catering hall (read my review for more info.), my wedding day was an absolute fantasy come true. Everything, even the weather, was perfect. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day.

It goes by in the blink of an eye, you must take a few moments with your husband that day and look around and take it all in. The moment goes by so quickly, and even if you have photos and video to look back on, being in that moment and feeling that feeling only comes from within....

Sorry to be so sappy, I am still in denial that my wedding is indeed over...

I agree...everything from our wedding day was incredible and it was better than I had ever imagined! I had the most wonderful, special, loving day! I wouldn't change a single thing about it

mY HONEST OPINION WAS IT WAS HTE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY! Our guests had a great time, so thats what makes me happy. I t all went by so fast and i was SO rushed all day that i never got to enjoy the day.

But a lot of people do gt to enjoy it and for that reason, it makes it the greatest day!

It went to fast. Extened your reception by an hour.

So very true. I can honestly say sometimes that it feels like it didn't even happen...like it was a part of our imagination. You spend so much time thinking planning every detail and the day rushes right on by, but everytime you hear your guests months later come up to you and say how incredible your wedding was and how every detail was touched and that they've never in a million years had been to a wedding like that...it was all worth it.

Not to mention going home to my Husband every night knowing he'll be there FOREVER makes that day mean so much more.

Looking back it really is like a big blur.. I know that a smile did not leave my face from morning until I went to sleep as a mrs and it was truly the best day I have ever lived .. The anticipation for the day was crazy.. and all the planning really worked out but I seriously don't remember much..
The pictures show me what kind of day I had and I can't wait to see the video..
After I see the video I am sure I will have another opinion...
But at the end of the day it is all worth it..

It was truly the best day of my life. I will always remember the joy I felt that day - it was like no other emotion I have ever felt. Still, I agree with others that the wedding day goes by WAY too fast. I was really sad when it was all over.

My advice is to soak in the day as much as possible. Take a bubble bath in the morning before you start getting ready to have alone time to reflect, or ride in the limo just with you and your groom so that the two of you have some time to yourselves. And definitely spend some time watching your guests enjoy themselves. That will give you great satisfaction.

Enjoy, enjoy!
