Oh, I didn't mean that there was a Neil Diamond concert Last time I came home for a visit, I made old Neil my avatar and it said We're Coming to America above him...he's just my travelling icon.

Seems like I'm averaging about 4 times a year. We moved over at the end of last FEbruary right after the wedding, then went in April for Easter, then I went for a quick visit in October, and we both went for Thanksgiving. We're going in February for my nephew's christening and I'll probably try to get there one more time before the summer.

Wow, that's a long time with no visits I would be so sad! Has your family been to visit you? What are flight prices like from Dublin? Right now they are che-ep to NY! ABout £180 round trip, with about £30 tax on top of that I think.

My parents came to Ireland last Feb, then we met them in Paris in August and we just met them in Spain for Christmas. I paid 300 Euro for my ticket to NY, which isn't too bad. It has been hard but DH have been travelling like crazy. We tried to go away every month since we have been here. In total we have been to 13 countries while we have been over here. It would have taken us a lifetime to see all that we have seen. It has been a great experience but I really miss the States and I am looking forward to going home for good in June.
