He's walking and NOW HE'S TALKING, TOO!!!

I can't even believe it, but it's happening....Paul is starting to speak REAL WORDS!

He's been saying little things like, 'see' and 'this' for a few weeks now. But just this morning, while Daddy was feeding him his breakfast, he said, 'mmmm, that good.'

Than, a little while later, he spotted a red balloon that he had left in the corner of Mommy's room, and he was pointing to it. We didn't realize what he was pointing to, so we put him down, and he practically RUNS over to grab it. I asked him, 'what's that, Paul?' His response was, 'A Red!' (How cute is that!???!)

And if you can believe it....he's in his carseat as I'm backing out of the driveway this afternoon. Jeff is standing by the front door, and Paul is waving to him. As we start to pull away, Paul says, 'Da, byebye!' Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

Jeff and I are in SHOCK! We cannot believe he's become so verbal practically overnight! We are very proud....thanks for letting me share!

Claud, I swear I was just thinking yesterday that Paul must be talking up a storm. How cute is that! A red You know that you & DH will be using these phrases still years from now. My SIL & I still do that with the way my nephew (who's now almost 14) use to say milk 'meeelk' it was so cute.

There's no stopping him now. He'll be soaking in every word you say now.

Wow!!!! Remember these moments Claud and make sure you write them down somewhere. You think that you will never, ever forget but somewhere along the way you lose these early memories. My kids still ask me what their first words were, which teeth came in first and all sorts of questions like these. Thankfully I kept a baby book for each of them so I have it to refer back to !!

Way to go Paul !!
