I just got home, and I'm still alive! Lol.

Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be, once the anesthesia kicked in I must have went out pretty quickly, and next thing I knew I was hearing them say I was gagging on the gauze, so i thought it was appropriate to say that i'm a gagger

Then, they said it was all over, and i said are you sh!tting me? I'm a fun patient.

Now I'm just waiting for my meds to be ready. I'm all numb and it kind of hurts already, so hopefully once that vicodin kicks in i'll be good as gold

haha don't worry- they've heard it all.... when I woke up I just kept saying 'Damn I am WASTEDDD!!!!!' the whole way out the door.... with my now-fiance and mom helping me... my mom was like ummm you are 19...

Then I slept the entire ride home but woke up long enough to demand a chocolate frosty from Wendy's but fell back asleep before I could have it

Also, when I had wisdom teeth out my doctor had me put on regular wet tea bags on the site. It really helped.
I just dipped the tea bags in cool water and soaked them on the tooth site.

Whoooo vicoprofin.

I just took a 2 1/2 hour nap, and I really don't feel bad at all. I know the pain really starts the following day, but right now, besides just the cut feeling and obvious bleeding, i'm not TOO chipmunky, and not TOO out of it. I don't know if it's common procedure, but they juiced me with anti-inflammatory in the IV as well, and the painkillers are a combo of vicodin and ibuprofen, so it seems like they were pretty on the ball to prevent too much swelling. Hopefully it continues, and I can go back to normal.

I'm very lucky I bit the bullet and did it, apparently I was actually in danger because I was experiencing severe lymph node swelling all week as well, which is a side affect of the infection that was raging, and I was thisclose to having a massive fever break out and having to be rushed to the ER, *supposedly*. That's all I would have needed this week!

Oh wow!!! Thank god you got it taken care of!!! Yea, with the pain killers they gave me, all I did was take naps... nothing crazy lol I hope you start feeling better soon!!!
