Hey all Woodlands brides

I already posted on the 2012 bride board but thought it would be great on here also..So if you are a 2012 bride use that board but for every other amazing Woodlands bride lets all come together here!! I thought I would start a thread just for us.. What is your wedding date, name, and are you doing something really fun, creative and exciting at your wedding...I though I would start this thread to get to know everyone and we could share ideas...I look forward to hearing from all of you!!

I am a Woodlands bride! Going this weekend to pay our 90% - yikes! Nothing really special that would wow you guys - LOL. But I am doing a lot of personalized things that I think our guests will like.

I am thinking candles everywhere and wanting to bring the outside in as the common thread with floral arrangements...I need more fun ideas...I don't want to miss anything...I am thinking cigar roller also...The place totally asks for it!

I wanted to do all high, then was going to do half and half because the florist that I wanted to use was so pricey...BUT my FH feels that I will be unhappy in the end with her since I am giving up so much to work with her. I still haven't booked a florist, it has been the most tiring, annoying, monotonous check yet!!! Wish me luck though because I am going to someone tonight that I have heard amazing things about her work and her willingness to work with a budget! What about you??

I was there today to drop off a payment and there was a wedding happening. They had all low centerpieces and it looked great!

I have 2 Florist appointments with vendors who are supposed to be reasonable...FH does NOT want to spend money on flowers, I wouldn't mind doing low centerpieces...I would prefer high...but I am happy to hear low looks good.

I went to my florist appt today and booked her!! Michelle from HIDDEN ESSENCE!! She was amazing and gave us an awesome price..Way cheaper and willing to work with our budget on the spot, no questions or weird looks and not forcing us to get rid of things that we wanted. She was amazing!! So happy I went to her!

While I was there I saw pics of a wedding that she did at The Woodlands that had all low centerpieces down the middle of the table and I just felt like it would be fine for a day event but didn't dress the room up fully for an evening event..Anyway you go it will look BEAUTIFUL but just my opinion...I am doing all highs and just feel like it will bring more interest into the room

That is awesome. Congratulations on booking with them! I see your point...hopefully I will be able to get someone to work within our budget. Would you mind fm-ing me your package and quote? I don't know where to begin when I go to these appointments (and FH certainly has no idea).

Hi everyone! I am a 2013 Woodlands bride...just starting to explore photographers. Anyone know who you will be using for photography? All of the recommended vendors seemed to be very expensive.

I found glenmar to be so reasonable...how much were you looking to spend? I guess it also depends what you are looking for and what you think is reasonable..I went to a lot of preferred and not preffered vendors and I found Glenmar to be a great choice...If you need any help FM me

Hi! Also a Woodlands bride...I'm using Gina Esposito for photography, she's great...a lot of the recommended vendors ARE very expensive, unfortunately...I met with B*urtons tonight and got a great quote on flowers, I'm probably going to so half high half low. I don't think I'm doing anything different...I wish I had the imagination for that. I'm working with a really great wedding planner to help me where my imagination fails. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

hey woodland brides....I am far out east but looking into woodlands since pictures are so beautiful...if anyone could email me with their quotes that would be helpful since I am so far out and the trip would be a waste if they are not in budget..thanks ladies
