if you wore an ivory dress and carried a white (or mostly white bo-k) would you mind posting pics? I never even had a second thought about ivory and white - white making the ivory look 'dirty' but then someone posted a thread with questions about it .... now im about how it will look ...

Here is the thing about white flowers...they are NOT white. The only flower that without a doubt you can get WHITE are tulips...almost all white flowers have an off white or even yellow tint. If youare wearing ivory...You will be fine with white flowers-dont stress it.

my dress was ivory, the bo-k was sahara roses (cream colored), & leonidas, w/ some stephanotis w/ crystals.

dress was natural and flowers wer white, but they're never white white like peg said..
Don't worry, there is no pure white fowers, white roses have a shade in them, you should be fine

girls, thanks so much! even though you can see a difference in the color, i think you all looked beautiful!!! I wouldnt want the flowers to completely match anyway, they would get lost in photos!!!

my bo-k was whote but since i am obsessed with pink i had to throw in some orchids with pink - i hated them - shoudl have just gone with the all whote my own fault
Check out my review. My dress was ivory. My bouquet wasn't all white, but it all worked out fine. Don't worry!

Like the other girls said, ivory dreses have no issue with white flowers because they are rarely pure white. HOWEVER women who wear pure white dresses, they have issues. Their flowers can look 'dirty' as happened to my MOH who carried an all white boquet of roses against a stark white satin gown. She should have mixed it up. You should be ok.

My gown was ivory and my flowers were peach and ivory rosess (check pics in album-great combo.) But I do not think that it will look bad at all! In fact I felt my gown didn't really look ivory?
