No. The next time I go is Monday. I have more routine tests tomorrow. If I don't have the baby by tuesday they are inducing me.

Maybe the baby knows that the Red Sox are going to the World Series and has decided to stay inside where it's safe!

Jola,

I think we are all 'friends' here - we talk about things that are on our minds, and vent about things we get upset about, etc... it is like a little community.

To many of us the yankees(or red sox) are not just a team we watch - but one we grew up with and it's part of who we are.

No one has ever asked you to go to a different board when you talk about something we might not want to talk about...instead, we read the post and move on - or don't read it at all.

If we start telling eachother where to post and what to say, what kind of board will this be?

I'm sorry to get on my soapbox right now, but I think this post was offensive and goes against everything this board is about - expecially the NWR section. I'm not telling you how to feel about something - if it upsets you that we post here so be it, but there are also nicer ways of saying things - especially to your friends.

As our classless King DjPill has often pointed out, this is the only site where people can post subjects anywhere they'd like, and/or double post ... On ANY OTHER SITE you really must put the appropriate topics in the appropriate forums or else the administrators or moderators move the threads themselves or just outright delete them

We all know that for whatever reason, LIWs does not work that way. So until it does, most people will post on NWR about anything they'd like, or will double post, purely because NWR gets more 'traffic'

This site has WAY too many forums. Can we delete the following?

Pets
Mets
Yanks
04 Brides
05 Brides
May Brides

A pets board is useless. Thats what NWR is for. The sports forums were supposed to be just a 'joke' during the subway series. They should be eliminated. And having four separate brides forums is dumb. There should be one centralized place to find actuall 'wedding' related material... and that should be BHB.


And until Ron decides to start enforcing cross-posting of threads... then its fair game to post where you want.

Maybe i'll cross post this post to four different forums just for sh**s and grins.
