I honestly havent been on as much as I would like...I get home from work and I am exhausted . I do still manage to get in my few posts of the day
Planning is going well...dealing with alot of the smaller details..ugh..its so easy to book the vendors..but a pain when you begin to get into all the little tiny things....
Gotta go book my bakery this weekend (hopfully) -see my pastor a few more times -tuxes this weekend -pick out music
and sooo much more!
Any tips? how did you handy the stress?? And hows married life?
The stress will get to you! I handled pretty well bc I was drunk most of the time.
I thrive on stress. Eat it for breakfast.
Actually, I can tell you to get your DIY's done as soon as you can. Like your sign in book, wrapping your gifts, or if you are going to write any of the girls a letter. Don't wait until the last minute.
I know you think 1k was alot but we had one hell of a time! My BM's were my sister in law, my BFFL, and my BFF.
We went to the spa on Friday. In the morning they came over and we had breakfast. I gave them bathrobes and slippers in a tote bag and a water bottle. We spad until noon. Then we went to lunch and met up with my mother, step-mother, and other sister in law. The theme was flip flops so each of them got a bag filled with flip flop goodies. (playing cards, notepads, ect) and the girls got flip flop necklaces. We ate and then went and got manicures and pedicures. I got them all gift certificates for mani/pedi and paid for all the spa stuff. At the RD I gave them thier makeup and hair GC, pocketbook, jewelry, hair clips, ect. Let me tell you Millie, I prepaid everything and if I could do it all again I wouldn't change a thing. The time spent with them was one of the best times of my life. With both my sister in laws preggo with thier 3rd I just figured that this would probably be the only opportunity for everyone to be together.
Just for future info: Me and some other brides are getting into our dresses, sitting on the couch with our drinks and watching the Friends episode where they do the same thing.
