Hey cat owners

We have to start our little girl on Prednisone tomorrow, the vet thinks she may have allergies as she has been pulling her hair out and excessively grooming.

I was reading about some side effects and wanted to know of any first hand experiences.

She also got a cartisone injection today. They are also trying to rule out ringworm, which the vet feels is a unlikely diagnosis

My cat had a similiar issue; I can't remember the medicine that he was on though. However, it didn't work and he would foam at the mouth when we gave it to him. So we stopped, and the vet just told us that he wasn't going to be able to stop overgrooming, but it isn't fatal or anything like that at all.
