First of, I'd like to thank all of you for the well wishes. Jenny11.9, tacyann, Sara and everyone else, thanks, it means so much to me to have you guys with us in spirit, that day!
Our day was ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Really and truly. The weather held up for us, even though it was more on the warm side, we were able to have our outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. But ladies, don't do what I did and watched the weather channel every day up to that morning. WHen I woke up, they said rain at noon - I almost started crying!!!! The weather channel stinks! Don't listen to them!!!!!
That morning:
We woke up around 5 and Annmarie (from Ben Peters Salon in Floral Park) came to do my hair. What a great job she did, I totally felt beautiful. Up next was Laura (who've I posted about), she did our makeup and we all felt beautiful! Really, they both did a fabulous job. Highly recommended.
Our video was there about 7ish - we used Riccardo Productions (friends of family) and they were really cool and got everything (even though I was running late), which I'm glad and can't wait to see!

The photographer (Sherwood Triart) was there around 8 and Bob (our photographer) and his assistant were so cool and easy going. They got all the shots we wanted plus more! My recommendation is to make a list and tell them all the pictures you want, because you do forget some pictures and with the confusion of the day, you will forget to tell them. I can't wait to get those proofs, I will definitly provide another review for those who want once I get those and I will definitly post them!

We got to the Westbury Manor around 9:30, the guys were already there and we worked it out so that the videographer and photographer got the shot when Rob first saw me.

That was an amazing feeling - he was just staring and smiling, just the most handsome man that I've ever seen!
The Westbury Manor did a wonderful job. The grounds are gorgeous and the pictures that we got so far, from our guests, were beautiful. The maitre'd was really really helpful (for WM brides, I'll post specifics later) and so was the bridal attendant. We were very lucky because Rob's stepfather got really ill during the pictures and had to go home. He is fine, but that was a scare.
The ceremony was the most beautiful ceremony that I have ever attended. Tracyann and everyone else who has Fr. Jim, he was AMAZING! His words had the whole place in tears and also he made some jokes in the beginning (about how I planned everything to the umph detail, that just had eveyone laughing). He was worth every penny and I would highly recommend him!! Truly a beautiful ceremony.
The peacock came out during the ceremony too and that was just perfect. And the DOVES - AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Everyone was talking about them! Frank from Wedding Wings is a pleasure to work with and his prices are reasonable!!!!!
The ceremony music was beautiful too - we used Elena Rojas - she is a student at Queens College - she played the violin and her friend the cello - very moving! I recommend her as well! Prices were very reasonable too!
The cocktail hour was awesome too. We had a recieving line, by accident, because once we walked from the ceremony to the cocktail, everyone followed and formed a line! That took a lot of time, but it was great, because we got to say hello to everyone! We took some more pictures and before we knew it, the cocktail hour was almost over! But the food was AMAZING! WM brides, I had my guests raving about the food, which of course, I was nervous about! The BBQ was cool, but only one guy working behind it, and everyone wanted something! The only complaint was the tropical drink bar - I thought it was going to be better decorated! But everyone got frozen drinks that I'm glad we got it! It was great, nonetheless!
The steel drums (Franklin Wayne) was awesome! Great touch, we got so many compliments there too!

Well worth the money and highly recommended. The only thing there was they had a cd for sale and that annoyed me because I was paying them good money. But you know that some of our guests bought the cd, because they liked them so much! So, I guess that option is up to you guys, if you are getting steel drums! I'm actually going to call and see if we could get a copy of the CD - I didn't think that day!
The reception was terrific too! Our flowers (Spitz and Peck) were gorgeous from our bouquets to the centerpieces. The only compliant were the red roses. We decorated each table with different color roses and the red ones were small and not blooming when we specifically asked for full bloom flowers! My husband (

) said something at the time, and they said they will open up, but compared to the other flowers, they were weak! But, on the whole - our flowers were gorgeous - really, everyone was fighting to take a centerpiece home, but we had a raffle for that! Also, another compliant was when we got our bouquets - apparently the delivery guy threw a box on my front lawn - my dad moved it before I knew. But that annoyed me!
The band - DAYBREAK'S Night was SO AMAZING - I got calls for their number and they were totally talked about! Joni and the rest of the band really outdid themseleves and I am so glad we got them. They had everyone up and dancing and really they were so great!!!!!!
The personal touches really made the wedding though. And I know that when we all post our vendor review, we always seem to say that all our guests say that our weddings were so beautiful and one of the best that they attend and that is really because all of us on the board truly put our heart and soul into our wedding (which is why we are on the board) and that definitely shows! From my invitations, to my programs (which I made) to the personalized placecards (which I made) to the color of the flowers to every last detail that we planned really comes out in each of our weddings. Our guests can see this and truly do rave!
My advice - don't forget these touches! My husband complained that I was to into the wedding and I don't need this and that. Well, let me tell you that he was the first to compliment and rave about our wedding because of those touches! It's worth it ladies.
Also, we did take a step back and admired everyone and everything. We also ate and had a good time - I truly recommend that too. The day flies much to fast.
Oh, and the dresses - I loved my dress and got tons of compliments on that too - it was perfect for me and that day too! It was a Monique Luo from Paradise Bridals - which they did a great job on the alterations and everything else. Believe me they had their hands full with me.
My mom's dress - bridal reflections. On the whole, my mom looked gorgeous. But she had a whirlwind with them at BR. They ordered her dress in the wrong size and I can't tell you how many fittings she had. But it worked out!
The girls were gorgeous in their pastel color dresses. Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook - great job there! They wore After Six!
The honeymoon was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Awesome time but really really hot! We got sick for a couple of days - but I'm so glad we had 12 days there! We met other couples and did tons of excursion! Great time!
Anything else, please let me know! Sorry so long, but i wanted to give you my review and tidbits to help you all have the wedding of your dreams like mine was for me!
