Re: hey girls??
I am not doing this, but I've seen a lot of people do it. I think that a lot of the traditions have changed and weddings are pretty much open to anything. If you think your Mom deserves it than she should be included too. It would probably mean a lot to her. Go for it!

yup that is correct. I am walking with both my parents. my 2nd most fav part of the whole ceremony
I am walking down the aisle with my Mom and Dad. My parents are divorced and my Mom is the one who raised me not my Dad. I have a good relationship with my Dad now but growing up he was never really around. Not that I don't love him or respect him but I think it would be disrespectful if I didn't include my Mother in that moment. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with both parents regardless of the relationships.

Re: hey girls??
I thought it was just going to be me and my Dad, but recently, my mom told me she wants in. I said ok. I think it's no problem to do both.

I'm NOT doing that, because my mom is nasty to me, but yah I think that is totally fine.

I don't know why but this just made me laugh - prob cause my mom is nasty too...

it is jewish tradtion... My mom was not so exctied when i mentioned the idea of letting just my dad walk me(i thought it would be sweet to let him have the moment of just us walking but my mom wants to walk with us too so we all go together!!

I think it's your wedding -- and do what works for you. I think including your mom is really sweet

Re: hey girls??
im not jewish, but i definitely considered doing both....i even told my mom that i was thinking it (cuz we're like BFFs lol) but she was totally against it....
she said theres no way shes taking that away from my dad, and shes very happy to walk in as MOB
so what we're doing is that instead of just me n daddy driving in the 1940s caddy to the church, mommys comin w/us!
i had to include her in something, so that was our compromise
