Hey Irish/Pale Brides

Do you get blotchy red spots, upon nerves, a drink ??? I get them on my neck etc, no raised bumps, just spots. I am so nervous that this will happen on my wedding day and ruin pics! Anyone get this???

I get this...and I did on my wedding day too. In the proofs you can see it, but they will take that out for the album when they retouch it.

I know of another bride on here that had the same problem and she actually bought a dress that covered her chest up to her neck.

There's really no other way around it.

yep me too-- i look like a red spotted freak! lol i get them mostly on my chest... when i get angry, have a drink or any time they feel like coming out!

fh thinks they are funny-- i'm sure i'll be fine for pics, i could always have them touched up.

I don't get it when I'm nervous, but I am an Irish pink/frekled plus the eczema red spots that love to visit in the winter. I'll do the best I can, but then again, that's me.... if anything is realyl bad in the pictures, i am sure he can touch them up...

ok well obviously i am not pale NOR irish
however - i do break out into hives when it is cold out and i get red and splotchy

my dermatologist told me to take one claritin a day for two weeks before the wedding ( so in case i forget to take it THAT day its in my system)

dont know if that would help in this case but figured i would throw it out there!

I get those as well. I never really thought about it, but I guess it could look funny in the pictures. Jaqueline Nicole mentioned doing the airbrush on my neck area as well, so maybe that will help.
If you are having digital pictures, I am sure they could take care of that anyway...

I am the same way. when I am nervous or stressing my chest gets all blotchy and when I drink me cheeks get red.
I was thinking about asking whoever does my makeup if they can airbrush my neck/chest or I may just have to go tanning or airbrush tan before the wedding

my FH does, and he is 110% Italian! He has an allergy to alcohol. I'd see a dermatologist, tell him/her your concenrs and see if they can suggest something
